February 4 - 8

This past week, students continued reading the Alberta Driver's Guide with a focus on reading fluency, decoding, and vocabulary. They also worked on research for their respective political parties as part of our school election campaign. Students also created authentic logos and slogans for their political parties.  On Friday, this week, students watched the documentary "In Defense of Food" as part of their health curriculum. Students completed an assignment related to key vocabulary with regard to the Western Diet, processed foods, type - 11 diabetes, and a well balanced, nutritional diet.
